Marsonics PIIP-3D
Three-dimensional photoacoustic imaging research system
A configurable platform for three-dimensional photoacoustic imaging of tissue, vasculature and ex vivo samples, supporting volumetric observation and cross-modal analysis.
Product image. Delivered configuration is subject to the agreed technical specification.
Research uses
- Photoacoustic observation of tissue and vascular volumes
- Ex vivo brain-sample and imaging-methods research
- Correlating three-dimensional reconstructions with other modalities
Confirm before selecting a configuration
- Sample type, dimensions, mounting and optical/acoustic access
- Detection array, scan range, acquisition and reconstruction
- Volumetric file formats, registration and performance validation
Does ex vivo whole-brain imaging imply real-time imaging through an intact human skull?
No. Ex vivo studies such as PATTERN use defined samples and experimental conditions. They do not establish real-time imaging through an intact human skull. Discuss configuration based on the sample, research objective and validation conditions.
Scope and validation
This page describes a research platform. It does not establish an approved diagnostic or therapeutic use, a clinical outcome, or a configuration-independent performance claim. Human research and translation require applicable ethics review, approvals and experimental validation.
