Marsonics PIIP-FC
Photoacoustic and ultrasound multimodal imaging research platform
Combine photoacoustic functional information with ultrasound structural information for tissue, vascular, oxygenation and probe-related research. Modalities and accessories depend on configuration.
Product image. Delivered configuration is subject to the agreed technical specification.
Research uses
- Small-animal tissue and vascular structure/function studies
- Oxygenation and molecular-probe research
- Photoacoustic/ultrasound registration and multimodal workflow development
Confirm before selecting a configuration
- Sample, imaging region, depth and field of view
- Light source, transducer and required imaging modalities
- Raw data, reconstruction, synchronized triggers and analysis interfaces
Can PIIP-FC modalities be selected for a particular study?
Define the required photoacoustic, ultrasound and related functional modalities first, then confirm the light source, transducer, acquisition and software. Images acquired under different conditions are not a universal performance specification.
Scope and validation
This page describes a research platform. It does not establish an approved diagnostic or therapeutic use, a clinical outcome, or a configuration-independent performance claim. Human research and translation require applicable ethics review, approvals and experimental validation.
