Marsonics PIIP-tFUS
Multimodal imaging and focused ultrasound research platform
Integrate photoacoustic/ultrasound imaging and focused ultrasound modulation, associating stimulation settings and imaging responses through synchronized triggering.
Product image. Delivered configuration is subject to the agreed technical specification.
Research uses
- Development of synchronized imaging and stimulation experiments
- Association of stimulation settings, timestamps and imaging responses
- Multimodal raw-data and algorithm-interface research
Confirm before selecting a configuration
- Research subject, sample access and acoustic imaging window
- Imaging/modulation modules, triggers and mechanical clearance
- Data timestamps, analysis interfaces and experimental validation
Does PIIP-tFUS imply validated closed-loop treatment of the human brain?
No. The platform supports research integration and methods development. Signal observation, synchronized association and automatic feedback control require different validation steps. Human research and diagnostic or therapeutic uses require their own applicable approvals and validation.
Scope and validation
This page describes a research platform. It does not establish an approved diagnostic or therapeutic use, a clinical outcome, or a configuration-independent performance claim. Human research and translation require applicable ethics review, approvals and experimental validation.
